Sourcing & provenance

Where it comes from is the whole point.

Provenance is not a certificate we hand over at the end — it is the criterion we source on from the start. Here is exactly what we do, and what we deliberately don't.

What we are

A wholesale trading house. We source, verify, document, coordinate and help settle physical metal, stones and fine goods between counterparties.

  • Physical trading & brokerage
  • Sourcing on accredited-refiner criteria
  • Verification & documentation
  • Settlement facilitation

What we are not

We say this plainly, because in this market the claims people make are exactly what a serious counterparty checks.

  • Not a refiner or mint
  • Not accredited for Good Delivery ourselves
  • Not a bank or financial institution
  • Not a “no-questions-asked” dealer

Sourcing criteria

Accredited refiners, or we don't move it.

Physical metal is referenced to refiners accredited on recognised Good-Delivery lists — UAE Good Delivery (UAEGD), Dubai Good Delivery and LBMA. We hold none of these accreditations ourselves, and we never imply we do — we use them as the bar the metal we handle must clear.

  • Assay & weight

Purity and weight checked against certificates.

  • Certificate of origin

Where the metal came from, on paper.

  • Lab reports for stones

GIA · IGI · GRS, matched to the parcel.

  • Kimberley Process

    For any rough diamonds handled.

Due diligence

The OECD five-step, in plain language.

We align to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for responsible mineral supply chains (and its Gold Supplement) — the international backbone standard. Stripped of jargon, it is five things:

1

Strong management systems

A written supply-chain policy, clear responsibility, and records kept for every transaction.

2

Identify & assess risk

Understand each supply chain and counterparty, and flag red flags in origin or handling.

3

Respond to risk

A risk-management plan — mitigate, monitor, or decline. Some deals we simply do not do.

4

Independent checks

Rely on accredited-refiner audits and lab certification rather than our own say-so.

5

Report

Keep and, where required, report the due-diligence trail to the authorities.

The network

Built relationship by relationship.

We are a new house and we build our supplier and counterparty network directly and deliberately — one verified relationship at a time. We would rather describe our method honestly than quote numbers we cannot stand behind.

Ask us where it comes from.

It's the right question, and the one we're built to answer. Open a trade account and we'll walk you through the provenance on a live parcel.
